Prizes

The International Spenser Society administers several prizes each year, making awards that recognize exceptional contributions to our field. Our aim is to support the best work in Spenser studies at all career stages and our prizes range from those specifically for graduate students and early career academics to awards honoring lifetime achievements in the field.  

 

All of our prizes are judged by a panel drawn from the executive committee of the ISS, on a rotating basis, and are awarded in accordance with our aims of promoting diversity and inclusion within early modern studies, as well as scholarly and critical excellence.
